On this week's podcast I discuss Karyn Kusana's (Aeon Flux, Girlfight) latest Jennifer's Body with Jessica Lee. Lee is the Queer Youth Organizer at Basic Rights Oregon an organization that, among other things, combats bullying in high schools.
After we fruitlessly try to understand why no hoodie forged could cover Megan Fox's navel, we delve into contemporary horror films' self-conscious obsession with racial diversity, the curious nature of Diabo Cody's subtext, the exquisite angst-ridden perfection of Hole's "Live Through This" and why it might be racist to seek out nostalgia-tinged entertainment like Whip It or Mad Men. We then take a moment to pay inebriated tribute to Patrick Swayze who passed away the day this episode was recorded.

Jennifer's Body, Megan Fox. I think she's the sexiest woman on the earth. But when it comes to acting, I think she has more to learn. I accepted lot more from her. The movie is boring.

I've been waiting for this movie for so long but it didn't satisfy me after watching. It's boring and story doesn't get my interest.
