Here are two great shorts that have been buzzing around film festivals and have recently become available on YouTube.
Alfonso Cuaron (Children of Men, A Little Princess) directed this trailer for Naomi Klein's forthcoming book, the Shock Doctrine: the Rise of Disaster Capitalism which is being released later this week.
You can also watch a 30 minute panel Ms. Klein participated in for the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives (that played at Toronto).
Rabbit, When a boy and girl find an idol in the stomach of a rabbit, great riches follow, but for how long? This film won the BAFTA last year for best animated short as well as a ton of other accolades. It's a little gross and a lot engrossing.
Bonus Round!
Kanye West apparently asked bearded comedian/unicorn man Zach Galifianakis to star in a video for West's fortcoming single "Can't Tell Me Nothing". Galifianakis brought along his friend Will Oldham for good measure.
A major label rap star making a naked grab at being a viral sensation? Possibly, but I defy you to not watch the vignette around 2:57 and not forward like it's hot.
OH! I love the rabbit! WHat fun videos you've put up here!
