Drea de Matteo and Parker Posey: Hungover, slouching and in boots.
My friends and I recently caught Zoe Cassavete's directorial debut, Broken English (some of us more than once), obsessed over it greatly and have even been calling each other in the middle of the night to talk it.
And I was delighted to hear on a recent episode of FilmCouch that Anne Thompson and Karina Longworth (second mention in a row -- KLW, I swear I'm not about to SWF you) had similar reactions , Thompson calling it, 'the first portrayal of a sentient female character who isn't a mother or a teenager in many years'.
You can't beat that kind of endorsement with a stick. Enjoy this clip of the Broken English leads Parker Posey and Drea de Matteo interviewing each other at Sundance.
